FAQ

How involved do I need to be?
Not much. You’ll spend about 8-10 hours total spread across the project—an hour or two for our kickoff, a few hours reviewing designs and the staging site, and occasional questions here and there. Most of your time is just waiting for me to build.

Do I have to get the 12 months of maintenance?
No. Although, most clients tend to want maintenance—that’s why I bundled it. It’s easier to think about one number for pricing and not worry about (yet another) monthly bill. But, if you would rather take the site and manage it yourself, just mention that in our free consultation call so I know!

What if I don’t have content ready?
No problem. I’ll work with whatever you have and fill in the blanks where necessary.

What if I need more than 2 hours of updates in a month?
Totally fine. Additional work is $150/hour, and I’ll always let you know before I start so there are no surprises. Honestly though, I almost never have to bill for extra time. I work fast.

Do I own the website?
Yep, 100%. Once you’ve paid in full, I hand over the keys to everything—WordPress dashboard, hosting panel, Google Analytics, all of it. You’re never locked into working with me.

What happens if you get hit by a bus?
Hopefully that doesn’t happen, but your site is built on standard WordPress—any developer can work with it. You’ll have all the logins, backups, and documentation. Nothing proprietary, nothing that only I can access.

Can you handle [specific technical thing I need]?
Maybe! Shoot me an email at [email protected] with the details. If it’s something I can do, great. If it’s outside my wheelhouse, I’ll be honest and can usually recommend someone who specializes in it.

What if I want to cancel management after 12 months?
No problem. There’s no long-term contract. After the first year, you can continue month-to-month, pay annually, or take over the site yourself. Whatever works for you.

Do you work with clients outside Fort Worth?
Absolutely. While I’m based in Fort Worth and love working with local businesses, I work with clients all over. Everything happens via video calls and email—location doesn’t matter.

How fast will my site actually be?
Under 2 seconds, guaranteed. Probably much faster, actually. Most of my sites load in 0.5 seconds (on a decent internet connection). It’s one of the things I’m obsessive about because speed directly impacts how professional you look and how well you rank on Google.

What if I hate the design?
Then I keep working on it until you don’t. But if we’re truly not vibing and you want out during the design phase, I’ll refund your deposit. I only want to work with people who are excited about what we’re building together.
